Skindred is a metal band formed in Newport, South Wales in 1998. Skindred's musical style mixes heavy metal, alternative rock and reggae. The band also integrate elements of hardcore punk, dancehall, jungle, ska, hip hop, drum and bass, dubstep into their music. Skindred are known for their energetic and involving live performances, and have won awards including "Best Live Band" at the 2011 UK Metal Hammer 'Golden Gods' awards and the "Devotion Award" at the 2011 Kerrang! Awards.

Anyone that has ever seen Skindred live will confirm that it is impossible not to get fired up and drawn into the joyous abandon of a Skindred show. Now on their 6th studio album "Volume” the "Newport Destroyers" are primed and ready to explode their infectious, powerful riffs on an unassuming mountain top not 20 miles from their home town.

Widely recognised as consistent deliverers of high octane, high velocity, chest pumping, groove inducing party music, Skindred are making their much anticipated debut on the mountain top. Benji, Dan, Mikey and Arya deliver the goods with every single performance. Metal Hammer Golden Gods and Kerrang! Award winning local boys and veterans of every major rock and metal festival in Europe guarantee a spectacular and powerful finish to Saturday night on every level.
